YOUTH SPORTS
AND ACTIVITIES

Youth sports programs for ages 6 to 19 provide athletic environments that emphasize the importance of the team concept and are safe-havens for physical training and mental conditioning. Sports programs also lay the foundation for critical life skills – such as hard work, effort, discipline, that are practical beyond the immediate scope of sports.

Youth Activities are designed to empower individuals through socio-cultural groups and engagement. This allows them to learn through the development of interaction, negotiation, and collaboration skills to address “real world” issues. Through character building experiences, the provision of healthy outlets to gain new skills, and connection with positive adult role models, youth are encouraged to learn from experience as they develop independent functioning.
